 What is a Third World Film?

A third world film is a medium budget production with the theme of poverty and world problems and issues such as violence and crime in a particular environment. Alot of the films produced are presented as very realistic and outlines the fact that these events are happening in the current world. Alot of countries in the Asia content are used as they suffer largely with environmental problems such as deceases and starvation. Some of these films are presented as a documentary as well as a feature film to enhance a more realistic look.
